Your family's day, on the fridge.
Who is where, what is on, what is for dinner, which bill is due and whose turn it is. On a tablet in the kitchen and every phone in the house, so everyone knows the plan.
The week, on the wall
A calendar the whole house can read from three metres: who is where, what is on, whose turn it is. It lives on the kitchen TV or a tablet on the bench and updates the moment somebody changes it on their phone.
The bills, before they bite
Every bill with its due date, a reminder to the right phone, and what is still owing this fortnight. Nothing is paid from here; it just makes sure nothing is missed.
The budget, out loud
One weekly figure, the recurring bills behind it, and the debts with the date each one is gone. Kids can read it. Parents change it. Watching a budget work is how a child learns what one is.
Chores and points
Who does what, ticked off from any phone, with points that add up to whatever your house has agreed they are worth.
Dinner and the shop
Type the meal into the week and the ingredients are one tap from the shopping list, which everyone in the house can add to from the aisle.
Every phone, one household
Parents sign in on their phones, the kids on theirs, the TV once and forever. A first name and a password is enough; nobody needs an email address.
Three steps, no app store
Start a household
Tap the button, pick a name and a password, name the family and add who is in it. Two minutes.
Put it on the phones
Open themumshub.com.au/family on each phone and choose Add to Home Screen. It installs like an app and opens like one. Family members join by scanning the invite square from your Setup screen.
Put it on the wall
Open the same address on the kitchen TV's browser or a tablet on the bench, sign in once, and leave it. It sleeps and wakes with the day.
What it costs
$5 a month, including GST, for the whole household however many of you there are. The first month is free and no card is asked for until it ends. If you stop, nothing is deleted: the calendar is exactly where you left it if you come back.
Your household is yours
Each household is walled off from every other in the database, and that is checked by a test that signs in as a stranger and tries to read everything. Nothing is sold, nothing is shared, and no email address is needed to use it.
